Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12 NIV).

 

Prayer of Approach

 

Living God, who has called me into the experience of eternal life, cause me to pursue the reality of your presence surrounding me at all times. Deepen my relationship with you as you lead me along life’s path that I may live to testify to your eternal goodness, your overflowing mercy, your unquestionable love, your enduring faithfulness, your intervening power. Through your working in me bring to life what is of eternal value in the lives of those whom I encounter according to your will.

Through the living Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, receive this prayer.

A Moment With God

 

There are influences that are always seeking to disrupt our communication and relationship with the living God whom we serve and to whom we belong. Our commitment to continuing along the path laid out for us must not be allowed to waver. Instead, there must be determination to follow such directions as are given by the Lord that will safely pilot us through the circumstances that threaten our well-being to provide what is needed to build up the faith of others for their blessing.
